We collect: email address and name (for account creation), uploaded furniture photographs (for room generation), IP address hash (for free tier abuse prevention), payment information (processed by Stripe, not stored by us), usage data (render history, preferences).
Your data is processed for: providing the room generation service, managing your account and credits, processing payments, preventing abuse of the free tier, improving our AI models (anonymized, aggregated data only), communicating service updates.
We process your data on the following legal grounds: (a) Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract: account management, room generation, credit system; (b) Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent: optional marketing communications; (c) Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest: abuse prevention (IP hashing), service improvement through anonymized analytics; (d) Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — legal obligation: retention of tax and accounting records as required by Polish law.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Uploaded furniture photos are retained until you delete them or your account. Generated renders are retained for 12 months. IP hashes for free tier tracking are retained for 30 days. Payment and tax records are retained for 5 years from the end of the tax year, as required by Polish law. Upon account deletion, all data is removed except records we are legally required to retain.
We use the following data processors: Supabase (EU region — database and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Google Gemini API (furniture photos are sent for AI room generation — Google acts as a data processor under Standard Contractual Clauses), Google OAuth (authentication). All processors are GDPR-compliant.
You have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data ('right to be forgotten'), restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@roomdesigner.app or through your account settings. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
We use essential cookies for: session management, language preference (locale cookie), authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Your data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. Specifically, furniture photos are processed by Google's Gemini API, which may operate outside the EEA. Such transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Room generation uses AI (Google Gemini) to create visual room designs from your furniture photos. This constitutes automated processing but does not involve automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. No profiling that produces legal effects on users is performed.
We will notify you of significant changes to this privacy policy via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
